The land used to produce the product must not have been subject to deforestation or forest degradation after 31 December 2020. Verified through satellite imagery and plot geolocation.
Geographic coordinates must be provided for every plot of land where the commodity was produced (polygons for larger plots). This is the single hardest requirement of EUDR — traceability down to the specific harvest/plantation plot.
Production must comply with the laws of the country of production, including land use rights, environmental protection, labour rights, human rights, tax, trade and customs regulations.
